Offered for sale is a rare vintage collectible -- a 1967 Tiltonsville Volunteer Fire Department decorative tray.
The tray features a picture of the Tiltonsville Volunteer Fire Department building, along with three fire trucks, an ambulance, and an emergency rescue vehicle; from 1967.
Insert pictures at the top include a piece of equipment from 1917, a fire truck with four firemen from 1920, and two fire trucks at the old firehouse in 1930.
The tray is a little over 22 inches wide by 16.5 inches tall. The metal tray has some tarnishing and some rust spots, especially on the back.
I have been told that this tray was manufactured at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel plant in Yorkville.
This is a great piece for anybody from Tiltonsville or for anybody who collects fire department memorabilia. This is not just a tray, it is a piece of history.
