Nice F5 mandolin by Will Parsons, formerly of WV, I decided to make the headstock into what would typically be offered on his F5's, this came with more of an A style headstock. New ebony veneer on face, dyed pearwood veneer on rear, inlay of "The Parsons" and flowerpot plus a new mop truss rod cover. The neck was "naked" so I stained and finished it to match the instrument. The flat fretboard (which already had it's extension cut off) was replaced with a radius bound ebony fretboard. The tailpiece cover is ebony veneer and secured with rare earth magnets. D’Addario phosphor bronze strings installed. A Gator hardshell case is included.
